    Hey guys check software update, 10.6.8 is out, suppose to update appstore for when Lion comes out

    Is anyone else finding that their computer is running cooler post-update?

    Mine seems to be doing just that now.

    It's supposed to be the primer for Lion...I believe you have to upgrade to 10.6.8 before going to Lion. I had issues with it because of Parallels 6 and had initially tolled back to 10.6.7 till I figured out why my Dock was thrashing my CPU. All good now and upgraded to 10.6.8 sans Parallels Windows folder in dock. Other than that no difference in performance for me.
