One of the fixes is the whole losing your data with the guest account thing. So that's good.

I really hope they fixed the new problems I'm having since I upgraded.

I guess I've been lucky so far. I had no problems went I went to Leopard. I had no problems even went I went from Windows 98 to ME. Nor did I have any of the problems Vista owners complained about. But geez, Snow Leopard was when my luck ran out. Video crashes-o-plenty.

Did this update adjust the screen brightness settings? I could've sworn it was brighter at 50% before the update then after this update....

Also, the screen is also much dimmer after a period of idle usage....is it just me?

My processor temps went up after updating. Nothing alarming yet, but it's about 20°C over ambient.... (total of 40°C). Normally it wouldn't be more than 6 or 7 higher.

forever.. or just for a few hours of usage? often mdsworker (for spotlight) churns away after updates, which heats up the machine until its done, which can be awhile depending on the machine.
