    Hey,

So sadly I am leaving the mac community and my situation has changed thus that none of the mac notebooks really suit my needs any more. Anyways this leaves me with a more or less function 2006 macbook. I am thinking about just turning it into a media computer but the lack of HDMI makes it a problematic, I have tried using the VGA adapter and it works but the resolution is low and not very sharp. So any ideas?

The problem with the quality I would imagine be mostly in the GPU which in those earlier models aren't the best and you would have to upgrade the whole logic board which would be expensive, time consuming and might not work. I might not be right but I don't see it working out that well for a multimedia center.

You could always sell it to me if you're interested and it's at a good price :D

Thanks for the info, pretty much what I was afraid of. Don't think I am going to sell it yet. It is still a pretty good wifi/word processing mule while the new MSI laptop is much more gamer oriented.
