    .img files on mac?

    Hi I just downloaded a video and it is formatted as a .img file. it is about 400 MB large. How can I view this video on a apple macbook pro? thanks

    .img is a cd image file. Try burning it to a cd in Disk Utility perhaps? Not sure if it can read .img images though.

    Or, if it can read .img files, you could be able to just mount the image and extract the movie that way.

    mount the image with Disk Utility. You can also burn the image to disk then.
