    new ssd drive have a question

    just installed a kingston ssd now v200 256gb ssd in my bios it says it is in sata 1 not sata 2 how can i correct this?

    Where in the BIOS does it say that? I'm not aware of any Alienware BIOS that will declare which SATA level the internal drives are running at. Grab a pic and upload it. It may just be a extraneous number next to the word SATA. Best way I've found to check which SATA speeds you drives are running at is to look in Intel RST. Under "Manage", click your SSD and under the advanced information it should give the SATA transfer speed.
