Shipping from US to.. here.

Hi. I live in the Middle East (Qatar to be specific) and I want to order a Alienware M15x. My mom said that she can't buy it right now.. so I have to wait another week. (Around the 11th of August)

I called a electronics shop and they said that I need to give them the specs and they'll bring it from the US to where I live.

Anyways, my question is this;

How long will it take to reach my country?
I take it.. 1 week to be manufactured.. but Idk when it takes in the airplanes and stuff.

Anyways, I asked the guy from the shop, how long it would take.. He said about 3 to 4 weeks and that is where I panicked.

My school starts @ September. I have a bunch of PC games that I want to play.

If my calculations are correct; my laptop might arrive around the beginning of September. I won't have time to get ready for school, study for my SATs and alot of things that I need to do.

If I pay extra for shipping, can it get here faster?

You can get it there faster but I don't know how faster.
With the normal cargo, people in U.S. even have it about 2-3 weeks after ordering it.
If you can get "next bussiness day cargo" (not sure if you can select it outside of U.S.), it will arrive in 2 weeks. Say 1 week for order processing, building and boxing. Then it may arrive any day in the other week. The reason it takes long time is nobody is working weekends so when it is friday, and you haven't received it, atleast 2-3 more days to wait :/
