Hi here,
I just bought to someone an Alienware m15x R2 completely teared down... The laptop is complete, the guy gave me every parts and every screw that came with them.
The onyl thing is : When putting the LCD parts back together (LCD bracket, Alienhead, etc...), I don't know where I have to put all the screws given with the LCD... Some screws were easy to put on since there were holes for them, but since I was not the one who teared down the LCD, I do have some screws left but don't know where to put them (there are small ones and bigger ones).
I looked over the service manual but there wasn't enough informations regarding the screws of the left and right brackets, etc... Is there a video or a manual that shows the accurate location of all the screws in the LCD hinge ?
Thanks.

Here is an excellent 3 part video guide to M15x teardown Alienware M15x Full System Disassembly (Part 1) - YouTube.
I suggest you watch it through then think in reverse
Best of luck. -
Yeah I've already seen that video, problem is that it does not show entirely the LCD screen teared down completely, you don't see the LCD screen removed from the front bezel :-(
