I and other members here are having issues with the Powershare feature on the M15x. Is anyone else having issues?

I might have, but first I need to ask a question... What is powershare?
-
A09 here and it works, but honestly never even knew about until your other post.
-
Yeah what is powershare?
-
Power share is when you plug a device in your esta port to charge even when your laptop is off.

"The USB Powershare feature allows you to charge USB devices when the
computer is turned off or in standby mode. If you turn off your computer
while charging a USB device, the device will stop charging. To continue
charging, disconnect the USB device and connect it again." - M15x Mobile Manual
It worked for me before in A08, but has since stopped working (laptop unplugged anyway, I haven't tried it while plugged in.) -
A09 here...not working...tried everything!!
How to make it work? -
Definetely doesn't work for me, I tried it that a while ago, when it didn't work I just assumed it wasn't possible. (and I just tried again and it still doesn't work.)
-
Ok here is an idea. For everyone on A09 bios who has powershare working were you on A08 before. I myself recieved my system with A09 already on it.
-
I was on A08 before. I'm curious, what MB revision do you guys have? Mine is revision 11.
EDIT: Look at post 17 below. Maybe it will help.

Mine is also Revision 11.
Did you have a BIOS version other than A09 at any point? -
TheHighlightGuy Notebook Consultant
@kosti What device are you charging/using with Powershare?
-
I confirmed I also have Rev. 11 but started with A09 anyone else with A09 from the start without Powershare working?
-
So far I've tried:
Sandisk Sansa Clip Mp3 Player
HTC MY Touch 3G Phone
Aztak EzReader E-book Reader
All charge fine from e-sata port even when system is off. -
My N86 doesn't charge from powershare. I don't have an option in the BIOS to enable it, either.
-
Powershare works great on my M11x and its also an option in the bios but not so much for my M15x.

No option in the BIOS here.
@ Kosti Do you have it?
Powershare?
