My M15x entered BSOD a few hours ago during typical use (acceptable memory/cpu usage, temps). Unfortunately I didn't note anything because I quickly panicked and turned it off for a restart, so I can't provide any error codes.
Immediately after this I tried to turn the M15x back on, but it was unresponsive (no LED lights to suggest a specific error) and the power and back lights turned off within a few seconds. I tried a power drain, and once I connected the power adapter its light near the plug would remain while the others dimmed just as before. The battery is fully charged.
It may be worth mentioning that there's a very slight (only heard by putting my ear to the keyboard) sound of activity from the laptop once the adapter is connected, which becomes just a bit louder after trying to power it on.
How should I troubleshoot this? Does this already point to a specific problem?
Thanks.

Can you try with battery only? Have you tried clearing the CMOS?
