    I think that it depends on what version your current bios is i think, you can try it. It wont damage anything, and it should update it without any problems

    I still have throttling with the 720QM since installing the A08 bios.

    I still have the throttling issue with my 720QM and GTX 260M.

    Any other way of fixing it?

    Im having throttling issues with my M15X, after about 15 mins of playing anygame, the cpu throttles down, and makes the game run very slowly, does using "throttle stop" stop this from happening, i have the I7 720 so its not the extreme model. And if so will mthis cause temps to go to extreme high levels above 90. ny help appreciated.

    Why don't you try BIOS A09, and do all over again?
