    Hi guys!

I got a problem, ( i think ) my ssd never reach maximum wrinte/read speed, and i'm thinking he is not so much fast than my HD 1TB. Look that pics!

I chek in Kingston WEB site, and that my ssd can reach 450/450 read/spead.

And let me know guys , what is ur benchmark with ur HD's? Share it please!
Post model and print if u can!!

Have a read through this guide http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/ssd-tweaks.762363/

I think this is the most important thing for you

Make sure write caching is enabled!

Bare in mind that the m15x's ports are SATA II and will run at SATA II speeds.

Can still boot windows 10 from cold in under 15 seconds directly to desktop with SATA-II speeds!

Definitely! The SSD will get those boot times for sure. I'm just saying that the most you can get from a SATA II port is around 285-300MB/s on a benchmark.

Indeed.. That is the main reason for the speed limitation...

My point was, for day to day usage its not much of a limitation, still feels lightning fast. Pretty easy to not even get up to 265MB/s if you don't have wrote caching enabled.

I can tell you one thing.. At least for me, my Crucial C300 felt snappier in my R4 which had SATA 3 compared to the G73JH which had SATA II... I move a lot of stuff around everyday and my SSD has quite a bit of writes on it too... Whichever way, something like an MX100/BX100 is enough for this machine..

I miss the days of waiting a minute or two for files to copy. It gave a nice brief moment of productivity downtime.

I for one don't.. Can't live with out my OS being on an SSD.. It's too slow for me otherwise..

Totally agree. Does my head in when I have to use a computer with hdd. A friend of mine has 3 ssds in RAID 0. From his Pc being turned off he can have Chrome open in 8 seconds.....

Oh I absolutely agree. I hate working off a HDD, but I also dislike never having a reason to tear my eyes away from the screen. :)

Have to agree with you on that.. I need more excuses sometimes to tear my eyes away from the screen...
