    M15X R1 (I think), Bit of a panic, dead laptop after bios flash.

    Dear all.

    My own stupid fault, bit peeved at myself as just shelled out on new psu, ram and 920xm....

    Anyway I saw that there was a modded BIOS (why do we do things when really we should know better by now), anyway........... see link below. I followed the instructions as best I could and ended up using :

    Dflash to flash : W6702MB.A09_SLIC.bin

    Ok so said it flashed successfully and shut down, now completely dead, tried taking CMOS battery out for 5mins, no joy. It's brown bread dead, nothing, no lights nowt.

    Would it be fair to say that's fubarred it now, new mainboard time ?
