    Laptop shuts down when using right angle adaptor pin mod

    Hi Folks,

    I finally had the chance to pickup & pin mod the right angle power brick adapter and observed the following behavior last night:

    Initially it works fine however, when I was loading star wars battlefront, my M15x abruptly powers off and the power brick illuminated light goes off and stays off until I reseat its outlet plug.

    If I don't use the right angle with pin mod, this issue is not observed playing the same game.

    Sounds like an issue with the Dell 240w power brick, any thoughts?

    That's very strange to me. If you are running on the specs in your signature, you honestly probably don't even benefit from the pin mod. I am running a 980m GPU and a i7 920xm and have had zero problems with the pin mod. Something isn't right.
