So I got the new card (turns out that probably wasn't the problem in the first place, but now I have an upgraded card so oh well).
Trying to get the drivers installed I found the driver on dell's site under the m18x and it just gave the iso file. So I'm about to flash the VBIOS with this cd made from the iso. This is correct right? Ive never flashed my vbios before when trying to get drivers so I wanted to clear this with the people who've successfully installed this video card before. Is the flash necesary?
This is the page I looked for the drivers on:
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers...ormats?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&DriverId=R316511
If I'm going about this wrong can someone get me a link to the current driver for the 560m? There are so many posts about this going around I got lost.
EDIT: Im retarded. I found the 296.10 driver on nvidia's website, but the classic issue of the hardware not being recognized has arisen.
So this is the editing of the inf file. Can someone direct me to so step by step help for this?
