just tried installing a new/used ebay gtx460 and got the flashing scrol caps solid num. after install so I put back in the old gpu and now im typing again. what gives btw i play with pcb's for a living, and this perticular card did have a little discoloration on a few solder points but not too bad.
process of install- removed old driver swapped old card for new retim power on and nothing except the bad lights

you sound like you know what you are doing, could be a faulty card from the start.
have u tried reseating the card? -
thanks for the reply. thats what i was afraid of, but was too lazy to get out the mm to check. does anyone know what that light code is? i havent read the manual Oh well at least the old gpu got a fresh batch of tim on it -4c
