    DP to HDMI adapter, no signal...

    Hi I've recently bought a new monitor and some DP port to HDMI adapter off of Amazon. This one to be specific...

    I've hooked it all up but on my monitor it's not detecting a signal. Do I need some sort of driver? I recently reformatted if it helps and I have a 6990m.

    Okay I did a restart and it fixed it oddly enough, didn't expect it to work HOWEVER it's not stretching to fit my entire monitor despite being at the correct resolution of 1920x1080.

    Did you go into display settings to change it to 1080p. When i first hooked mine up it was at a low res by default, after changing it, it now always connects at 1080p.

    Yeah it was, I had to change the options for GPU scaling to overscan 0% in Catalyst. It's working all fine now.
