    Hi,

I bought a new 970m (a Clevo one) because the first one I bought was dead, I installed it but it's impossible to screw the heatsink in the x-bracket, the screws are too big, I don't know what to do

Can i install the x-bracket of my 260m on the 970m without damaging it ?

Where i can find right size screws for the clevo x-bracket ?

    Thank you in advance

    Hi,

Noticed that this did not have a reply. Did you manage to get it screwed in?

I recently ugpraded to a 970m. I ordered this off Aliexpress:

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32958519935.html?spm=a2g0s.8937460.0.0.263d2e0eEBbjZv

Just in case the 970m didnt come with a backplate. It didn't so good thing I ordered the backplate. The link above also comes with the screws. I didn't end up needing them as the screws on my heatsink fit the xbracket (was used on a ati 5850m previously) so now I have four spare screws.

    Hope this helps!
