Can m15x support radeon 5870?

Hi.i have upgraded my m17xr2 to 7970M. so i have used 5870 crossfire and thinking to sell it to my pal which he is having m15x.

1) so will m15x support radeon 5870?
2) does he need to alter the bios?
3) and are there any malfunction he has to face? like fan speed, hdmi or sumethin'.
4) what about the heatsink and x-bracket?does he need to buy a new heatsink and x-bracket or jz use his old heatsink and x-bracket from his m15x?

There's a full thread about this. The jist, is that you have to flash it to the A00 vBIOS if I remember correctly.
