Well i finally got OD in CCC.
But when i go to over clock it, my external monitor does not stay stable. The external monitor flickers. The laptop screen does not have any problems.
I even tried a 5Mhz increase on the GPU clock and it still flickers.
Any one else have this problem?

I've been trying out the ATI Override for a while and I'm being extremely skeptical about it. It has a test function that allow user to test the overclocking value and I just went 805/1200 for the lulz cause I know it won't work. But guess what? It tells me SUCCESS. lol
Anyone here messing around with the override? -
It will tell you success, but that doesnt mean its going to be stable in games with higher demand on the GPU instead of their "test."
The true way to test it is to run Furmark for 5 to 10 mins or some GPU intense games.
Red Dragon3, I have not experienced this at all. I have tried OC'ing mine to 800/1100 and it works perfectly when connected to my U2410 via DisplayPort. I dont get any flickering at all. -
Hmm been on 805/1200 for an hour in COD:Black Ops. No signs of problem at all
Well not like Black Ops is THAT intense anyway. -
Not sure if this has already been mentioned anywhere but overdrive can be enabled on Dell drivers by editing the following values in registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ATI\ACE\Settings\Graphics\OverDrive2\Accessible = All
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ATI\ACE\Settings\Graphics\OverDrive3\Accessible = All
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ATI\ACE\Settings\Graphics\OverDrive5\Accessible = All
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ATI\ACE\Settings\Graphics\PowerXpress\AutoSwitchingFeature\Accessible = All
Reboot and Overdrive tab should now be visible. -
