This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Why did you even get A03 so late? A08 is already out. jeez....

    idk, it was on a list of recommended downloads while i was looking for the japanese language bar, so i got it and boom. bricked. might not of been the ao3 but symptoms are the same

    Well, its not an available download from dell. Suggest in the future (once you resolve this issue), all downloads for the system are grabbed from the official support.dell.com site.

    Hope it works out. Contact support and see if they can assist you.

    Again, not sure if it was actually AO3, but i have never had a problem before and i download some updates from dell's site and boom. maybe it was something different but the end result is the exact same as described here.

    apparently this is a common issue with Alienware laptops and windows updates... thats what the guy said... guess my laptop updated itself while i wasnt watching.

    First time I hear of this...

    Just have dell fix it, if it's less than a year (Assuming you didn't get extended warranty) they should be able to help you.
