i have just test geforce 675m on a m15x system, it work perfectly with auto fan control, hdmi, hdmi audio and everything seem perfect like acceptable temperature, except, the 3dmark vantage score is too low for a 675m!
as screenshot you can see, my 675m only get 9400 GPU score, is my cpu (720qm) drag it back? but i think that gpu score is not involve with CPU score at all?
note that no sign of throttle, the temp is perfect

Hello
Scores depend on CPU and other components, like memory and power supply, if your power supply is lower than the one required for this graphics card, then the score will be lower. It could also be that the CPU is causing a bottleneck.
You can always refer to this website for benchmark comparisons:

thanks for reply
but i don't think something wrong with my setup, same cpu, same driver and same PSU, the 670m score a bit higher than current 675m (around 11k gpu score, but with win 7 os), maybe i should try again with win 7? because i'm on 8 RP nơ? -
Well ya you should be comparing scores on win7, otherwise it's an unfair comparison.

Heres my vantage score from tonight with my 7970m in it. AMD Radeon HD 7970M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-720QM Processor ,Alienware score: P14939 3DMarks I have the same laptop and cpu with 16gb of 1333 corsair ram. looks like your CPU score is bang on for 4-8gb of standard 1333 ram. I would take a guess at bad video drivers/windows 8 compatibility issues if you are 100% sure you aren't throttling. You should be around P13000 at least I would assume with that card...

I have the 180W adaptor and it works fine. Performance is killer. 3Dmark 2k11 I scored over P5000. Borderlands and skyrim play very nicely maxed with 4x AA and 16X AF. i only have the 900p LCD tho so I cant say much for 1080P... Yet....

But yeah I agree. The 675M should score around 13.5K in Vantage without much of a problem. 9k is much too low and my 6970M scores higher than that. -
i've set the cmos setting default and it's all good, the score is much higher now, doesn't know why it work though...

I'm reading so much about the 675m being a pain in the butt on the m15x.
This thread sounds like it's no problem at all?
Does this card go with the m15x? I might have a chance to get on from a friend!
675m on M15x score too low?
