    460m problem

    Hi. I tried to play mafia 2 on my m15x as well as shogun both games would stutter to the point where the game was unplayable this is even with resoution on low. So i updated my drivers via the nvidia site to 270.61 but the problem is still there, further more windows is rating the areo performance at 2.9. Any suggestions? The performance is really suffering.

    m15x
    i7 620m
    460m gtx
    1080p resoulotion

    Thank you though it does say im running in stealth mode on the command center i have no touch button so how do i turn it off?

    what do you mean by no touch button?? It's the last of the touch buttons wich should be dim lit when stealth mode is off and bright when it's on

    Thank you, i just looked in the maual it appears that my buttons do not illuminate however they do function therefore i was unable to see them ill have to get dell out to repair it. Thank you for you time.

    The command center button does not light either it appears the end two buttons dont work or dont have leds behind them. The game works now however thank you.

    You should try using 267.76 with those 460M you got there...this drivers unleashes the full potential of this card. Tried and Tested..!!! ;)

    And ya, a stealth mode in a performance gaming laptop is a JOKE..!!!

    One way to tell if im in stealth mode is to overclock it with the nvidia control panel. If i can overclock im not in stealth mode but if i can there will be an error message not allowing u to do so.
