guys i just wanna get cleared about this throttling issue FPS drops all of a sudden and it gets restored ...any FIX??

Which bios are you on but I'm guess it's A09...if so, there is not much that can be done except using Throttlestop to lock the clock to help prevent CPU throttling.. I'd the same issue with my 460M but A08 fixed it for me...
Good Luck. -
I had the same problem since I had the XM processor and the 260m GPU, but I upgraded to A09 BIOS and upgraded my GPU to the 5850 since it uses lower power consumption and no throttling problems at all - never had to use a program .

Having used the 260M, and now having an HD5850, I can conclusively say that the 260M is itself the problem. Too hot for not enough power, unlike the 5850, which runs pretty cool and faster than the 260M.
I tried fixing the throttling myself, but after a while it stopped me from watching 1080p video properly, so bought an HD5850 from Dell, they installed it, and now I have no problems at all. -
I had the same issue, I eventually replaced the 260M with the 5850. Works great.

My 260m throttled too as others have said the 5850m does not. either use throttle stop or change gpus.

can anyone tell me how to use it?

The Revelator Notebook Prophet
A very minimal effort to research the issue would reveal these sources, among others. One does have to actually read and absorb the information contained in the Guide and the Throttling thread, but if you seek knowledge, some effort is required.

Throttlestop Guide -
Yeah the revelator is right,
but to be honest if you have the money, i'd just upgrade to the 5850 - if money if a problem then yeah use throttle stop.
oh yeah on a side note if that's your RL pic Ashtrix, then
....................DAMN!
