the screen is that bad - returning

Hello all...I know theres been threads on the screen before but I wanted to give my opinion on it because had I know it was that bad I would not have bought. I don't consider it usable...and not because of the glare!

The screen is terrible! It's the absolute worst screen I've ever seen....I was so excited to get my m11x r1...but can't keep it with a screen this bad. The search continues for a smaller laptop that can game

I'm honestly shocked people can say anything other than this screen is the worst. You cannot get an even picture across the display....no matter how you tilt it or what angle you are looking at it from. It is IMPOSSIBLE. I would have gladly paid $100 for a better screen! Even $200! that is how much I like the rest of this laptop. I had a recently refreshed macbook pro 13" and the screen looks amazing compared to the m11x. Not just the brightness but EVERYTHING. The viewing angles are waaaaaaaay better, contrast is way better. The m11x basically looks like you are looking through a cloudy film all the time. I had an asus ul80vt and one of the main reasons I got rid of that was the horrible screen, and the alienware is worse! Sorry, I just can't stress enough how bad it is... I wish I had known before I purchased.

I'm going to try and record some good video showing just how bad this display is because I think its hard to tell from forum threads. Here is my experience last night with google chrome:
When you open a new tab in google chrome with no themes or anything, the boxes around the website links are a blue(ish) color. Using the m11x I could BARELY see these boxes...like they were not there...it just looked white. Keep in mind this was on 4 bars brightness which I don't think is that bright. So when i moved the screen away from me more I could see the boxes better. However when I did that, I could not see the aero theme on the top right corner of the browser. You know how there should be glass "streaks" or whatever. It was just a pure black bar. I could not get a consistently decent (not good) image on the screen at once. I love this laptop, but that is just unacceptable to me. My asus 1005ha has an AMAZING screen compared to this so I know they make better, smaller screens.
BTW I have the samsung screen. Maybe the au is much better, and if it is shame on dell for screwing some of it's customers randomly.
