You probably need to add hl2.exe to the whitelist, since TF2 is actually a mod of the Source Engine

are your drivers up to date? I haven't had any trouble with source engine games on my r2. Currently using 258.96

If that is the only message that you get, then that is fine. You are most likely using an M11x R2 system. When you launch the game, it is Steam (steam.exe) that detects your GPU and prompts you with that message. Steam.exe runs on the Intel GPU by default.

When you run Team Fortress 2, it is hl2.exe that runs. That will run on the GeForce 335M GPU. Don't worry, I had the same thing on my M11x R2. I just chose to disable the message pop-up, because I knew that it would run on the nVidia 335M GPU once the game launched.

And as many people have said, it never hurts to update to the latest driver. The ones that people have had success with are the 258.96 drivers w/modded INF file.
