What does it mean when it says "Out of Memory". When I play some games for a short period of time or long period of time, my game just closes, doesn't crash just closes. then it says out of memory, anyway i can fix this?

What games does it happened in?
Also can you give a screen shot of the error next time you get it?

That means your ram is all used up and the paging file has reached its maximum I believe.

Assuming I'm right, either your paging file is set to have a maximum, and you're hitting it, in which case this link will show you how to change that Change the size of virtual memory (alternatively, buy more ram), or the free space on your hard drive isn't enough for your paging file to expand to the size it needs to be, in which case you need to get rid of some stuff on your hard drive (alternatively, buy a bigger hard drive).

I like to say this is wrong because he has 4 gb of ram.

I have 4 gigs as well and i have more than 100 gigs on the HDD.

I get memory problem for sum reason.

plus i have this problem with l4d2..which doesnt even need 4 gigs of ram.

ill try out ur link later, thank you!

Can you capture the message? Use Windows 7 Snipping Tool to grab a screenshot and post it here.

Can you check the event log and see if there is a related entry in the log?

You mention 'some games' - which ones besides L4D2? Does this happen every time you launch the offending title? Any other applications generate this message?

Has this always been the case? Do you recall making any changes to the OS's Advanced Properties, specifically, have you changed the Page File or any other Virtual Memory settings prior to seeing this error message?

Uhh, this only happening to me now when I play Combat Arms by Nexon and sometimes L4d2, I havent done any changes to the OS's advanced properties or anything.

The message only pops up for half a second and then disappears. This only happens after I played a few matches like 4 or 5 then Combat arms shuts down but with L4D2, it doesn't really happen anymore.

On my event log the only related errors are the Nvdsync, I am running the 260.99 drivers. I just reinstalled the nv drivers and the games. The problem has seen to have gone away. Thanks for the help and quick responses
