    i didnt get the internal bluetooth device my i bought the R2
    but now i have a bluetooth dongle from dealextreme
    i cant find any software for bluetooth, like the standard one for windows
    and i tried bluesoleil, it just doesnt work.
    what i do??

    Win7 has native support... bluesoleil should work if the hardware is compatible... my guess? the dongle is crap.

    What does device manager show?

    Hey tzc1215, I also have a usb bluetooth device that looks kind of like one of those keychain flash drives. Usually when you plug it in, you should see Windows 7's "searching for new device driver" message in the right lower corner of your desktop, by the date and time. If it loads properly, you'll get the "B" bluetooth logo down there. You can also check the control panel to see if Windows is detecting the dongle. Hope that helps!

    just cant find anything in windows
    cant find any bluetooth settings

    There is nothing called bluetooth in control panel
    just don't have the offical bluetooth thing in control panel or anyplace else
    the dongle works on my desk top
    the problem is not on the dongle or connecting problem
    it's that there is no bluetooth in my computer
    the microsoft one that should come with it just doesn't exist
    what can I do

    have you done any bloat cleanup.... OS re-install? Selling computers in mass means using images... yours should be the same as others in your market.

    Follow up sumb question. i got a refurb did not think ordered one with blue tooth. But did a system dianostic and it did a hardware test for blue toooth and it said I had blue tooth .Also bios has bluetooth enabled . Do I have bluetooth
