    should i upgrade or replace the battery???

    hey guys so i have an r1 right now and the battery needs to be replaced and i also start school in the next week. so i will be needing the laptop on the go more often.

    my question is should i drop $200 on a new battery for my r1

    or should i sell the r1 for about $500 then upgrade to an r3 or maybe even a 14x if i have the funds.

    i would appreciate any suggestions

    had the same issue recently, I called dell and was able to get a new battery shipped for about 125$. FYI

    What am I missing here?
    Why isn't a regular replacement battery available on Amazon or eBay for like $30 shipped, like any other Dell system?
