I haven't got my M11x yet (eta 5/16), but I am curious about the restore media options since it's something I will do within 24 hours of arrival.
I hear many people using USB flash drives to create the restore file. Wouldn't a DVD off of an external drive be more reliable? I've had data loss from long time storage on a USB flash (about 4 years). I'll admit it was generic, but I still think DVD would be at least 5 years more reliable. Any thoughts? Can the restore file be backed up?
