This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Those are desktop cards which won't physically fit in a laptop.

    If you're referring to a eGPU solution, it can be done but i believe you'll have to give up Wifi and use that slot.
    And IMHO, it would be a waste to use a 6xx series desktop card for a eGPU setup.

    At 768P the 540M GT will be able to handle Borderlands 2 the first one was hardly very demanding.
