Hey guys,
Just wanted to give a good word for Adolfo Escalante, who works with Alienware technical support at Dell. My M11x hinges were near breaking (cracking, wobbly, all that), so I sent an email to Alienware asking to get it repaired. Throughout the process of getting a box sent to me, sending my M11x in, having it repaired, and having it sent back to me, I must have sent Adolfo an email or two every day asking for updates (because the Dell dispatch tracker is really slow to update and doesn't include much information at all). He always replied within about two hours with useful information - here's your tracking number for the box we're sending you; your computer's been tagged for repair; your computer's been shipped back out, here's the tracking number, let me know when it arrives.
If mods want to move this to the M11x hinge thread that's fine with me, but I thought I'd post it here first so people can see. The whole process was super smooth - from my first email request to getting it back was about 1.5 weeks - and Mr. Escalante was a big part of that. Alienware is awesome!
