    Hey guys ran a search but didnt find the results i was looking for
    been a longtime reader but never had to post.

    anyways i been having an issue lately, where my power cable is just turning off by it self. its plugged in, and i rarely turn it off, i can only recall once where it turned off while i was operating it but.

    overall ive had no other problems, im sussing out if anyone else had any issues with the power cable? im sure i can get another one from dell, just curious if its a common problem or just an isolated incident.

    Sounds like a defective unit.

    I'd call Alienware (not Dell) and get it replaced.
