Yeah, check out someguy's pinmod. That's what I did. I failed though... Just search google for m11x mods, and it will pop up. There are a bunch of epic ones out there. I am going to the internal usb port on my new AW17.

    Good luck and have fun!

As bobthedespot mentioned above, use sume guy's (his actual name of the forums) pinmod as well as his heatsink mod. I actually installed heatsinks in my R3 on account of his mod being as effective as it was, and just made a couple changes in the design due to the differences between the R1 and R3.

Here is his heatsink mod thread.

that's a nice job you did there :) i have read some guys threads and they are awesome he do so many crazy things hehe :)

i don't know if you even wanna hear my plan but here it is.. i will cut out the name plate area and put in som grill or something to get rid of heat soak because my backplate (especially the name plate) gets soooo damn hot. i also want to throw some copper heatsinks in there and repaste with mx-4or something good reviewed (= then pinmod to open up some OC abilities.. flash the bios and get some OC gear for both cpu and gpu.

then this.. my theory.. i know that my ram clock speed is following with the cpu OC.. so making the OC higher with flashed bios and pinmod i wanted to throw in some 1600mhz ram so i can make the OC even higher?

tell me what you think about it (= and should i pinmod or just flash the bios?

    thx for the answers
