Does anyone know if 3dvision will work with the m11x (assuming you have it hooked up to an appropriate external display, of course)?

    3D Vision Requirements

The GT 335M is listed in the blu-ray 3d playback section, but not any of the others ...

The GT 140 is listed in the 3d gaming section, but I have no idea where the GT 335m stacks up against it.

    Thanks!

I think its a case of weather the display has the ability to & i think it has to have 120hz or better to work. correct me if im wrong.

Assuming you have a 120hz display the question becomes: does the m11x have the power to do it? That I don't know.

I don't know the requirements for nvidia 3D vision, but I'd assume to be able to display both the left side at 60fps (60Hz) and the right side at 60fps (60Hz), the M11x would have to be capable of playing the game at 120fps (120Hz) and still have some processing power on top of that, and not many games, recent ones at least, are showing more than 100+ fps as far as I've read on here. I'm sure that since it is more than capable of displaying a 1080p video at 120fps, it probably can play 3D Blu-Rays, I just don't see the 3D gaming happening. I don't know for sure, just an educated guess, but I would sure like to find out!

Maybe you could look into 3D Vision Discover instead. Unless that is now obsolete. :p

    or alternatively this: http://www.iz3d.com/driver

That's not the 335m it's the intel card. The Nvidia 335m doesn't kick in when it does the tests so maybe it is possible?

Well, the 335M was chosen because it was a lowest-power part that could supply a decent amount of graphical power to a 1366x768 screen. It does that job pretty well.

nVidia 3D Vision requires some pretty hefty graphics card hardware, and a 120Hz LCD screen (the smallest of which is 1680x1050). Asking a little 335M to drive that kind of setup is like asking a Prius to haul 8 tons of cargo. Leave the little Prius alone! Let it do what it was designed to do!

Wouldn't our laptops need to have hdmi 1.4 anyways in order to output the 3D signal to the external 120hz monitor? This is why I passed on the Asus 3D laptop, who wants to play 3D on a 15" screen.
