i posted about this issue about 5 months ago, and it only seems to get louder.

Basically My m11x-r2 squeals loudly when on AC, its eminating from the alienhead, area, unplug the ac cord and it goes silent ( but my battery is shot so i cant leave it off for long, ) The squeal comes and goes, but is more noticable after powering up or on wake up, it goes quiet then sometimes it comes back.

you can hear it from 2-3 foot away but its soooo damn hard to get on a microphone, since it doesn't really pick it up, its not the ac adapter as this is a good, 4-5 foot away..

i tried my best to get it on camera again,

the machine is idle, muted, and its there, please crank your volume a little if you cant hear it right away

hopefully you can notice ( apart from the rustling behind, that when i unplug and the alienhead goes red, it goes quiet,

im still under warranty and im hoping i can get this fixed before anything goes really wrong when the warranty expires (which knowing me is like a week or two after )

I hear it. Damn I regret selling my lunar shadow m11x r1 back in 2010 because the m11x is one sexy and cool little computer

I would definitely send it in for warranty repair because that squealing noise could be a faulty hardware component on the inside that is about to fail but we are not sure. Could also be a coil whine.

its a little quieter, but there is still a smaller noise eminating from the middle
