    Hi all,
As the title says, I finally upgraded to win 10 but now my keyboard lighting is stuck in the last mode I had before the upgrade and I can not find any utility to change it? Is there any type of Alien Fx to control the backlighting for windows 10? I have downloaded a few things as per google search but no success. Thank you in advance!

You need the Command Center Application from Dell's Support Page. Enter you service tag or Browse all Machines and go to the Driver's and Downloads section. It should be listed there to download. It will say it's for Windows 7 but it will install on Windows 10, just as long as you have all your Microsoft .net Framework updates done.

Thanks guys; I didn't upgrade. I did a clean win 10 install. Have done all the updates and have the .net Framework cumulative updates done too. I have tried both the windows 7 and 8 versions of alien command center from the dell site based on my service Tag, and both FAIL in the middle of installation....Any ideas?

    ok, found a solution:

    1. Download "Application_X6VV1_WN_2.8.10.0_A02.EXE" from dell

    2. Run the file and choose "Extract without installing...>"

    3. Select/Create a folder and extract files.

    4. View folder the files were extracted to.

    5. Right-click on setup.exe and select Properties.

    6. Click on the Compatibility tab.

    7. Check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and choose Windows 8

    8. Check the box "Run this program as and administrator"

    9. Click "Apply" then "OK"

    10. Run setup.exe and follow installer instructions and restart computer when prompted.

This took a while, but it worked great with full functionality.

Ok awesome. I thought that version 2.8.8.0 was the last one that could be used with the older machines. Good that you got it working though.
