I remember in r1, you can only use the HDMI if it is on dedicated gpu. Is it the same thing with r2/r3 w/ optimus that it will show nvidia is being used once hdmi is plugged in?

BTW, the desktop is not showing evenly on the 32" hdtv like the bottom and sides are not adjusted properly. I remember with the intel card before with my other laptop that there is an option there to adjust the scaling so that the whole desktop will show properly and perfectly fitted.

The problem is there is no intel settings when you right click of desktop because HDMI is using the nvidia card.

    How do I fix this?

    Thanks

On the R2/R3 final output to any display, internal or external, is handled by the Intel IGP and you'll still make adjustments for things such as scaling within the Intel driver. It doesn't matter which processor is handling the processing duty.

Yea but where is the intel settings or properties? The nvidia gpu displays shows that hdmi is using it and when I right click the desktop, only nvidia no intel settings to adjust the scaling.

So where is this intel settings to adjust the scaling then?
