Found a m11x r2 brand new in a sealed box locally for $800. I was wondering if someone can tell me if that's a good deal, great, deal or so-so.

    i5-520 um
    320 gb hdd
    8gb ram
and everything else is the same with all other m11x's.
Ive been out of the m11x loop and the last one i had was the r1. Can i get this deal from deal using a coupon?

There were recent deals for the exact same config for $639-$699. I'm not sure if or when these prices will come back though.

What ihas m11x said. I just received that same configuration from Dell for $636. I'd call them up and bargain down to at least $700 before buying second hand goods, even if not opened.

Yeah, they went for around $700 after tax with free shipping. Chances are, the person who is selling you that one got it for that price too and is looking to make a quick $100 off of you. If you can try to get him to lower the price to, say $701.
