MY m11x seems to of developed a rather nasty trait where it drops or appears to throttle back the gpu. Something I do not recall it doing so acutely.

It can occur in any game but in this instance I'm using TF2 as a baseline. This normally runs between 90-110FPS but will drop to sub 30FPS after several minutes of gameplay. I can see within MSI afterburner that GPU usage instantly drops by 50% within the monitor, no other clock mhz(core, shader, mem) changes.

So it would appear the GPU throttles, by usage/demand, when it hits a certain temperature? Well no, this behaviour can occur at any temp between 70-80C.

I've tried various tools and tweaks to simply remove throttling, disabling powermizer etc but with no success.

Currently no OC on the gpu. Various drivers used with no difference.

Any ideas? Or does anyone know an _absolute_ method to stop the trigger point for the throttle? (If indeed this is actually what's causing this issue.)

    ADDITIONAL-
Yet when running furmark for 10s of minutes it can hit 90+c with no indication of GPU usage dropping within the MSI A monitor.

    Cheers, Paul.
