My r2 is always dimming even though i set the power options to never dim under any power mode. Why does it continue doing so?

Did you change the settings for unplugged and plugged in?

This is most likely related to a known problem related to Alienware's power management tools (Alien Fusion).

    To fix this:
Go to Windows Control Panel --> Administrative Tools --> Services
Find the "Alien Fusion" service. Stop it, and set the Startup Type to Disabled.

    That should fix it.

There is also a setting for screen dimming on the Intel graphics settings (not the Nvidia control panel, but the Intel one)
