    hey guys i have searched the forum and the interweb for this issue and kinda drew a blank,

    i am a new owner of a i5 4gb ram r2 oc cpu to 156 atm , however when i tried to play fallout 3 , i get to the goat test, and it just says the program is not responding,

    Try this:

    Open up the fallout.ini file in: My Documents\My Games\Fallout3

    Find the line:

    bUseThreadedAI=0

    change it to:

    bUseThreadedAI=1

    Add another line after it and insert:

    iNumHWThreads=2

    This will limit the game to 2 cores and prevent the engine bug from causing the game to freeze.

    How can you possibly know what Santa is going to bring you for Christmas. It all depends on so many factors, most specifically the definition of Good and whether or not you have been it.

    I don't know if it is 100% the same, but it is very similar. Fallout New Vegas doesn't seem to have that exact problem with the INI. With the latest patch I believe that it should run fine without any tweaking.
