    m11x r1 graphics switching

    how do you switch between the integrated and the dedi graphics? I have the r1 any help? I dont think I have optimus..

    Press on your keyboard "Fn +F6". It should say "Binary Gfx" on the F6 button.

    In your bios you must have graphics settings as "switchable", not "dedicated".

    dedicated allows you to plays games at decent settings but takes your battery life to 2-3 hours. Integrated cant really play games but gives you the best battery life.

    Integrated graphics give you more battery life while dedicated graphics give you more power for gaming. You gotta pick what's more important for the situation at hand.
