I swear there was a guide for a fresh install on the m11x specifically, detailing what to install and what order, but I can't seem to find it.

If someone could link me to it, I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks!

Here http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...ion-how-search-forum-read-before-posting.html is the sticky with all the important links and here Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States] is the drivers page.

There is no order they have to be installed in, just put in your service tag and get the drivers for : Chipset, card readers, USB, LAN, WiFi, GPU, audio, and get your alien Command Center installed. that's really all you need, and that's really all that is installed factory direct from Dell. with AlienFX you'll have all of the lights working again as per normal.

Thanks again, Rishwin (you helped in my other topic too). I already have all the drivers downloaded, so I'll just slot them all in.

    Cheers!

Okay, one last question...I have two items that I can't find drivers for.

One is the "Intel(R) Display Audio" driver, which is displaying as "High Definition Audio Device" with an ! next to it.

The other is "Other Devices - Unknown Device" that falls between Network Adapters and Processors. I can't figure out what that is at all, it doesn't seem to match up with anything on the pictures I have of Device Manager from before I wiped it and reinstalled everything.

    Any ideas?

Does the sound work though? Tried all the Audio drivers there?

Cos sometimes it will give you alerts for things which are actually working, like my R1 says that it has no WiFi drivers when it clearly does.

also the other one may be the accelerometer or bluetooth/WWAN, it will simply pick up anything which is connected to the motherboard so don't be alarmed. If your system runs the way you want it then don't worry about it - i have my bluetooth/WWAN/SDcards/Firewire permanently disabled ad most of them have alerts but it runs flawlessly.
