    I'm planning on getting another m11x but this time keeping everything at base config, I was wondering if the 2gb base ram installed is running 1 stick of 2gb ram or is it x2 1gb ram?

    Is the base 2gb ram running on dual chan?

    mine came with 2x1GB and was in dual channel.

    its 2 sticks of 1GB. so if your thinking of upgrading you need a kit
