m11x alientouch/ razer deathadder

Okay guys, i have a really annoying issue. i bought a razer death adder mouse. and right when i plug it in it works fine, about 15 seconds after i plug it in this begins to happen, whenever i pick the mouse up from the table or mouse pad the cursor jumps around sporadically. I am also unable to get into the mouse settings in the control panel...it just wont open. Another issue, im not sure if its related but in the command center, i am unable to open alientouch...
it throws this error and closes.
i am running the latest driver of my synaptics touch pad, i checked on the dell website.

this is very annoying and any help is appreciated.

i have the R1 and 2 different deathadders. nether one gives me any issues. im on the latest drivers from the Dell site and use the Windows suggested driver for the deathadder.

maybe its defective? have you tried it on a different PC?

 

i tried it on my desktop and it seemed to work just fine...im going to try and uninstall the driver that came with the mouse on the CD and let windows find one

 

update: uninstalled razer software from computer now the sensitivity on my touchpad is extremley low and i still cant get into the mouse properties on control panel OR into alientouch....please help

 

update 2: i got the driver for synaptics reinstalled fixing the sensitivity issue. now when i try to do a repair on command center is goes through and throws an error about the location of a commandcenter.msi file thats on a network location even though its poiting to the C drive. anyways. i cant continue with a repair of that program...any ideas how to get comman center repaired so i can use alientouch.

 

update 3: sorry for all the updates. just troubleshooting, i can now access alientouch. i put the razer on a desktop next to me and same problem..mouse works fine when its on the table but when i pick it up. its like the laser is trying to track something and shoots the cursor wildly around...any ideas of what this could be?

 

if there is nothing interfering with the reading lense (lint, fuz, scratch, ect.) id say the mouse is messed up. is it new?


oh if i remember right you can flash the firmware on those mice. try looking on the razer site to see if there is an update mabey?

what would be a good way to clean that? its just strange to me that it works fine right after being plugged in on and off the table. however after about 10 to 15 seconds this effect kicks in.

This will help you get better percision from the RZR DA on M11x:
(note: before you do this, delete any existing software/drivers related to the device and clean registry - mice are VERY sensitive to improper installations - the SteelSeries XAI for example, if installed improperly, it will become a paper weight soon after)
Disable Synaptics Pointing Device from msconfig
Download latest drivers from razerzone
In mouse control panel disable mouse acceleration
In nVIDIA control panel under 3D settings change pre-rendered frames to 0

 

ive installed the latest firmware and driver and that doesnt seem to help at all...the mouse works perfectly fine until i lift it slightly from my mousepad. at which point it freaks out...this is very bad especially if playing a game. I think it must be something physically wrong with the mouse. anyone know of a good way to clean the lens and stuff in there?

The Avago S3888 found in the DA 3.5G is one of the best laser sensors. What firmware are you running?

 

firmware 1.38(DC)
but this happens in any computer i put it on regardless of what firmware.
i tried compressed air to no avail.
