    m11x R3 Resolution Help

    Hi All,

    I know this will be some what of a newb question, but I am struggling with my new monitor and my m11x R3.

    I have a Dell Ultrasharp U2713HM 27" monitor, and cannot get the resolution up past 1920 x 1080... but I know it can go to 2560 x 1440

    My m11x is a R3 with core i7 has a Nvidia GT 540M, and on board Intel HD Graphic's 3000. I have used the HDMi connection.

    hardware and setup is not really my forte, but I would like to know if this is a graphic's limitation or something I am missing.

    Any help would be really appreciated.

    I got a display port adapter from work, but no luck... then I read that thread, and I need an active display port adapter!!!
