I did search, don't want to post in the accessories forum cause I don't care what others use, because other laptops suck.

Any M11 users here have a BT gamepad?

I have seen a only a few on the market. I don't really want one that has a dongle I have to plug in, I have BT in my M11.

    anyone?

    thanks

edit: I know they lag a little, its primarily for MLB2K10 and a few other single player games. FPS, use the keyboard and mousey.

While idk if you will devalue this opinion because its not BT, I always reccomend getting an XBOX360 controller for PC whenever you want to use a gamepad in the computer. A majority of titles now ship with default keybinding but also have preconfigured gamepad setups for the XBOX360 controller, whether its the wireless model or wired. I know you said you dont want a dongle but I use this wound up with my m11x and its perfect. IMO the BT delay isnt gonna be efficient vs the cost

The main reason I wanted BT is because when I fly, I hate cables laying around.

+1 for the Xbox 360 controller. It is arguably the best gamepad / controller for the PC. Limiting yourself to bluetooth-only isn't worth not having the Xbox360 controller.

If you want to fly with it, then just connect the wireless receiver to your M11x, and just leave it hanging off of your seat tray.

Totally agree with DankDarko. I've used a wired 360 controller with my computers for years and it's a very rare case that a game with gamepad support doesn't support it. The wire for the controller is indeed very long though. You could always get the wireless adapter for a wireless 360 controller though.

I also use the 360 controller. I play Crysis single player with it and I love it. I got the wireless dongle from ebay since its only sold with a controller now and I had an extra controller I wanted to use.

you could try a PS3 BT controller. I bet It'll use the same button mapping thats preloaded and if not I believe that tutor guides you to software that allows manual button mapping. GL

yeah, I read about using a PS3 controller. I saw a guide for how to get it to hook up with a PC, seems straight forward.

I think I will try the 360 controller first.

I will try the PS3 as well this weekend. will update on ease and performance later.

    thanks

    +1 for wireless X360 controller & receiver

using these drivers instead of the default ones, you can get pretty much anything to work

Or the PS3 controller if you need a functional d-pad, cause the 360's without any mods can be maddening
