    locked fx lighting past experience

    Hey guys, i had an issue that i self resolved with my R2 a week ago, and was wondering if anyone has had any similar issues or if it is the start of a fault?

    for the week or so before, i kept getting a " this usb device has malfunctioned " on port 4, and my FX lighting would not change colours, even with a reboot.

    Now i have had this issue in the past on a normal pc, it was explained to me that powering down your pc and leaving the power off (with the power lead in) for a period of time would sort it,

    So i pryed open the bottom off my Baby, and uncoupled the battery, left it for a while and pressed the power button for a minute or so, after she was back togther she booted and the lights came back on as they should.

    Does this seem like a hardware issue? or more like a one time trip up by the FX controller?
