Any big difference? Or is it about the same?
Will I see a difference also when compared to core 2 duo? or lets say a P7350?
Thank you so much!

There are tons of threads comparing i5 and i7.
I suggest you search it up before posting a repetitive thread. -

Is not worth it, unless you have the extra cash to expend, and even then, put that money to get 4GB of RAM or a SSD, that would help more to get a faster performance than the CPU....

I have an i5 and I have yet to hear of anything that the i7 can do that the i5 cannot, especially when using ThrottleStop.
Still, if you have the cash and you play CPU intensive games like Starcraft 2, then I would go with the i7 in a heartbeat. If you play GPU limited games like most first person shooters and many RPGs (I fall in this category), stick with the i5. The i5 has served me really well. I am completely happy with it.
The flip side is the processor is the one thing you cannot upgrade later, so if you ever think you will need that extra power from the i7 on CPU intensive games, you need to do it now.
