so i bought an alienware m11xr3 for 810 pounds, i downloaded football manager and napleon totalwar, both games start fine and on the website can you run it it says they should run perfectly on my computer, but when ever it gets to a point where it needs to use 3D i.e a battle in napleon or a match in fm 2012 it crashes, either freezes completly or crashes to desktop saying somthing about the driver not working?? the alienware tech support team told me that becacue these games are old (football manager "2012"!!????) that they dont work on 1GB DDR3 NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 540M and that the producers of the game should release a patch to get them to work!?!? they told me that this problem is all over the forums, now i cant find any posts about it, so iv signed up to ask myself if anyone has had this problem or been told this? i have to change 3D settings to intergrated grahpics to get games to work, im currently downloading shogun total war to test the theory its becauce the games are old.
    anybody else had this problem!?!?
help needed this laptop is 2 days old and somthing fishy is going on
